Happy New Year

A new year with new reasons to praise!  As we step into a brand-new year, we do so with hearts full of gratitude.  The past year held its share of victories, challenges, prayers answered, and lessons learned.  Through it all, God proved faithful.  We can look back and clearly see moments where His grace sustained us and His hand guided us forward.

At the same time, a new year invites us not to live in yesterday, but to embrace what God desires to do next.  Isaiah reminds us that God specializes in new beginnings.  He is not finished with us, nor is His work among us complete.  Each new season carries opportunities for growth, healing, and renewed purpose.

As Joshua prepared to lead Israel into unfamiliar territory, God’s instruction was clear:  be strong and courageous – not because the journey would be easy, but because God would be present.  That same promise belongs to us today.  The year ahead may hold unknowns, but it will never be absent of God’s promise. So as stated in Hebrews 13:15: “Through Jesus, therefore, let us continually offer to God a sacrifice of praise—the fruit of lips that openly profess his name in worship and thankfulness.
